I'm incurably eccentric: born in Detroit, raised in Houston, weekend mini-cations in Austin, and planning an extended stay in Japan. After taking many bruises from the steel-toe of life, I finally got my act together and put pen to page successfully. Writing is a journey, and like my characters, it took a little magic to get to the end. And thus, books were produced. Eventually, I'll be paid for it.
